Tackle Your Goals Two Weeks at a Time: A Look at Our Client Journey

Most people fail because their goals are too big.

This doesn’t mean don’t set big goals, but trying to lose 30 pounds for insert special occasion with a time constraint (i.e. 3-5 months) can be very overwhelming for someone. Especially if they’ve never lost weight before, or have never been consistent for long enough before.

So when someone comes to us and asks us to help them achieve a big goal, we definitely tackle it head-on, but we follow a process. This is called our Client Journey.

Client journey = Day 1…………. -> Day X (goal achieved) and beyond.

For example, if your goal is to lose 50 lbs, first we’ll assess you, your lifestyle, your history, and your body composition.

From there, we work in 90-day blocks. So if your LIFETIME goal is to lose 50 lbs, based on our expertise, we break down that goal into smaller, 90-day goals. For the first 90 days, we’ll aim to lose 10-12 lbs.

THEN we break that 90-day goal into two 45-day goals. Now, in order to hit that 50 lb lifetime goal, you have to lose 5-6 lbs in 45 days or 6 weeks. (Seems a little less scary than thinking about 50 lbs, right?)

Then, split that time in half again. And again. Until we get so small that we look at 2 weeks at a time. So if your goal is 5 lbs, from Day 1 to Day 14, we’re aiming for a total of drumroll 2 lbs. Seems much easier to hit, right?
